We are based in Christchurch, New Zealand. Travel is included within a 10km radius of Burwood, travel charges may apply for events outside of this area. We travel Canterbury wide!

Yes, but we only need access to a single standard 240v socket so that the fridge stays chilled.

The Creative Cart Co. does not have a license to sell alcohol.  All beverages are to be provided by you, the event organiser, and any liquor licenses, if required.

For a seamless service we recommend 1 cart per 100 guests

We can give you recommendations, depending on the beverage options you require

Absolutely! We have experienced and friendly staff that will provide you with an effortless drinks service. There is a minimum booking of 3 hours for service staff. 1 server per 30 guests. 2 servers 30-60 guests and 3 servers for 80+ guests

We are super flexible to your requirements and are happy to set up and leave it to you! If you are hiring our candy floss cart without an operator, please note the event organiser must be present on drop off for instructions. 

No, this is responsibility of the customer. They will need to have somewhere for us to leave the empty bottles when it’s time for us to clean up.

Once all the details have been discussed via email we will send you an invoice and a hire agreement. A 25% deposit is required to secure your date . This is non-refundable should you decide to cancel your booking. The remaining balance is due 14 days prior to your event.  Any cancellations received within 7 days of your event are non-refundable.

All our packages include an 8 hour hire of the Creative Cart, extended hours can be negotiated. There is a minimum booking of 3 hours for service staff.

Having the most magical & memorable event ever is very important to us! In terms of the serious stuff… please read on! 

Creative Cart Co. Product Care 

We operate based on mutual goodwill. We expect our hire products to be treated as if they were your own. Much of our hire range is handmade and is very precious to us! It’s super durable, although we understand that food and drink can likely be spilt. If something is likely to stain, we would appreciate this being cleaned – please only use soapy water or spray n wipe. Strong chemical cleaners may damage the cart beyond simple repair. We do not allow candles to sit directly on the cart – please ensure you use candle holders or vases as any spilled wax would cause significant damage. 

Pick up/s & Delivery 

There may not be an option to collect. Pick-up of items from CCC are decided on a case by case basis, due to the care that must be taken with many of our hire items. Pick-ups are arranged at a suitable time for both you (the client) and a CCC staff member. It is the hirer’s responsibility to be  aware of cart dimensions before the event. Our cart’s weigh approximately 150 kg therefore the venue must be on ground level or be able to fit in a lift of the dimensions. A delivery fee may be incorporated into your quote to cover travel costs – each booking is quoted on a case by case basis. 

Injury & Damage to Client or Third Persons or Property 

Creative Cart Co. is not liable for any damages or injury which may occur to persons or property during the full hire period including the duration of pick-up & transportation. 

The client shall not have any claim against CCC for loss or damage suffered to the client as a result of the clients use of the goods and further, the client will indemnify CCC against any claim by a third person in respect of any loss, injury or liability arising from the hiring or arising out of using the goods hired by the client. 

The rental period is discussed by prior arrangement, all hire products will be returned or collected (by prior arrangement) at the conclusion of the event (or by the date stated on this agreement). If items are returned late, a late fee of $250.00 per day will incur. 

No warranties by CCC 

The client acknowledges that CCC has not made any representations or given any warranties as to: the suitability of the goods for their intended purpose; the condition and/or quality of the goods and/or services; its expertise in advising the client as to the appropriate goods or services to be hired; its expertise in performing the services. 

It is the client’s responsibility to ensure the hired products will fit the intended space for the duration of the hire period. If an item requires a detailed setup, it will come with an instruction document which must be adhered to by the client. All products have been designed to ensure a simple assembly process. 

 

Ownership & assignment of the goods 

All rental items remain the property of Creative Cart Co. at all times. 

The client has no right, title or interest in the goods except they were hired to the client in terms of this agreement. 

CCC must be advised in advance if the hired goods are being relocated to another address (within the hire period set out in this agreement) other than what is stated as the ‘event location’ in this agreement. CCC has the right to decline any relocation of goods by anyone other than CCC staff at the clients expense. 

This agreement does not give consent to the client subletting any of the hire items to any other person. 

Loss or damage to the goods 

All furniture must be returned clean and in original condition – no exceptions. A cleaning fee of $50.00 will be applied if items are returned in unclean condition. 

The client shall be responsible for all expenses, loss (including charges) and/or damage suffered and/or incurred by CCC arising from any breakdown of the goods due to the client’s negligence, misdirection and/or misuse of the goods. Any glassware breakages have a replacement fee of $10.00 per glass. 

If the goods are returned in a damaged, unclean and/or defective state, except where there is fair wear and tear and/or an inherent fault in the goods, the client shall be liable to pay CCC for the cost of any repair and/or cleaning required to return the goods to a condition fit for re-hire and to pay the charges until such repairs and/or cleaning have been completed. 

The client accepts responsibility for the repair or replacement of any damaged items. 

Force Majeure 

We do not take any responsibility for bad weather on the day of your event – if you are intending on an outdoors affair, we highly recommend having a back-up plan. In no circumstances must our items be left out in wet weather or overnight. Any damage caused by wet weather will render the client liable for charges to repair or replace items. 

Our carts may not withstand high winds in open areas – please keep this in mind and have a backup plan where required. It is the responsibility of the client to ensure items are well secured using appropriate measures that will not cause damage to our product/s. 

Return of the goods 

The client or his/her authorised agent must be present when CCC staff collects the goods. If the client fails to be present, he/she shall not be entitled to subsequently dispute the amount of, or condition of, the goods recorded collected by CCC. 

Disputes 

No claim relating to goods and services will be considered unless made within seven days of completion of goods and services 

 

Quotation 

Where a quotation is given by CCC for goods and services, the quotation shall be valid for thirty (30) days from the date of issue and the quotation shall be inclusive of goods and services tax unless specifically stated to the contrary. Where goods and services are required in addition to the quotation, the customer agrees to pay for the additional cost of such goods and services. 

Prices are subject to change without notice. Prices will not change for confirmed bookings (this applies only to those who have paid a 25% non-refundable deposit to secure the quoted booking).
